In the UK, they grow in open meadows (very sunny)but I imagine your Florida sun is going to be a lot hotter and stronger than ours, so maybe you could put the pot into an area that is part-shady: one that gets some sun during the day, but not all day lone, maybe next to a fence or building.

Good luck with it!Rachel the Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025126472323801610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736928270390224037.post-58268008374975045852017-08-09T23:12:47.159+01:002017-08-09T23:12:47.159+01:00I meant "pot"I meant "pot"tahruhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02310860390153020754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736928270390224037.post-91105162465799553542017-08-09T23:10:53.858+01:002017-08-09T23:10:53.858+01:00Hello, I found one in my garden a couple of months...Hello, I found one in my garden a couple of months ago, but it doesn't grow....I wish I could show you a picture I don't know how to post it here though, I want to move it to a pit, what kind of soul is bettet you think? They are very easy to mistake for grass, especially if they have germinated in grass. In my experience, the first year they often only produce one pair of visible leaves, which are rarely spotted.

In the second year, you get more sets of leaves (always in opposing pairs) which are broader, and which start to show the spots. If you are lucky, you might get a flowering spike in the second year, or they might wait until the third year, by which time they are "fully adult" you might say.

Hope this helps!Rachel the Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025126472323801610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736928270390224037.post-15392821296499578432017-06-10T22:29:30.885+01:002017-06-10T22:29:30.885+01:00I'd like to see an image of when the seed has ...I'd like to see an image of when the seed has just germinated as a tiny seedling.
