I find there's always a dichotomy with tools: on the one hand, I was brought up to use "the right tool for the job", but on the other hand, as a professional gardener, I am paid - as it were - by the minute, so it isn't fair to waste time trogging back to the car to get the "right" tool, to only use it for five minutes before wasting time replacing it. The daisy grubber for the dock roots and the patio knife for the clumps of grass root. This was the fourth sweep of the area - glyphosate would have been such a cop out!
