So if it were mine, I would remove all the suckers now. If you'd like to email me with a couple of pictures, I'd be able to comment more accurately.
Rachel the Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025126472323801610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736928270390224037.post-32312504365016140652024-03-07T11:36:59.311+00:002024-03-07T11:36:59.311+00:00Hey there! I have cut off a few of the suckers trying not to shock it too much going into spring. Is it okay to cut more away right now? Or am I right in waiting again until dormancy to cut off the rest of them so it doesn't damage the main tree?CadelThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02681439878270446916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736928270390224037.post-39971030990976657682022-05-12T14:30:16.494+01:002022-05-12T14:30:16.494+01:00Hello! I feel it does less damage to the tree, and it does avoid the tree wasting all those resources.

I shall expect to see you out there, first thing in spring!Rachel the Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025126472323801610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736928270390224037.post-47989625822298400832021-09-12T17:53:57.805+01:002021-09-12T17:53:57.805+01:00Thanks for this helpful advice.
